The VZN R-Hand A2 is a device designed for active-passive rehabilitation of the upper extremities, aimed at improving limb flexibility and increasing muscle strength. Training on this apparatus allows increasing the range of motion in joints during circular movements. Users can choose from five levels of wrist load, depending on their personal preferences.
Sessions on this apparatus are particularly important after a period of prolonged forced immobilization of the upper extremities (for example, due to fractures). The patient can select different levels of resistance and adjust the rotation speed. Rotational movements help develop the wrist, elbow, and shoulder joints.
The VZN R-Hand A2 is equipped with wheels for easy transport and foot brakes for fixation. There is also the option to adjust the angle of inclination (0°, 45°, 90°) and the height of the apparatus. Emergency stop buttons are located on both sides of the trainer, allowing the patient to press one of them at any time to halt the movement.
The VZN R-Hand A2 has three modes: active, passive, and active-passive. In the active-passive mode, there is an option to activate the assistive mode, which helps the patient complete the movement. In the passive mode, rotation is carried out using an electric motor, allowing patients with complete dysfunction of the upper extremities to replicate natural movements. In the active mode, patients use their own strength for rotations, gradually increasing the muscle strength of the upper extremities.
