R-Hand X1 is a device for active-passive mechanotherapy in a lying position. It is used for the rehabilitation training of muscle strength and upper limb movements in bedridden patients. With the early mobilization device, patients can perform arm movements in bed or on a couch in a passive or active mode.
R-Hand X1 has several modes:
- passive training mode: if a patient cannot perform exercises independently, the device can be controlled by a motor to execute actions of the upper extremities, preventing adverse consequences resulting from a lack of exercises, such as joint stiffness, muscle atrophy, contracture, osteoporosis, venous thrombosis, and so on;
- auxiliary training mode: the auxiliary training function allows patients to perform exercises by their own efforts using the equipment due to muscle weakness. It can not only detect the residual muscle strength of the patient's muscles but also improve the residual muscle strength through regular training, activate the patient's potential, and finally complete autonomous movement freely;
- active training mode: patients with greater residual muscle strength can use their own strength for active exercises.
Passive and active movement can be switched during training to ensure continuity.
The device automatically detects spasm and then initiates the process of spasm removal. The asynchronous motor automatically stops working and operates slowly in the opposite direction to eliminate the spasm.
R-Hand X1 features biometric feedback in the form of a game mode and percentage display, motivating the patient to achieve rehabilitation results and expedite recovery.
