VZN MEDBIKE V1 is a therapeutic device designed for the rehabilitation of both upper and lower limbs. The device is used by individuals with mobility impairments, following injuries, strokes, and paralysis.
VZN MEDBIKE V1 has several training modes:
- active mode: Movement is powered by the patient's own strength. During training, the patient can monitor their own metrics on the display: speed, kilometers, the force they exert, the percentage indicating which limb is more active;
- passive mode: Movement is facilitated by the device's motors. This mode is used to reduce spastic paralysis and improve muscle tone;
- active-passive mode: Passive and active movements can be continuously switched to ensure uninterrupted training;
- assisted mode: The continuous control system measures the force applied by the patient and assists in rotational movements to match the chosen parameter. Motors are engaged during passive training, determining residual muscle ability and providing additional force;
- constant speed mode: Speed remains constant during training, with variable resistance.
The VZN MEDBIKE V1 rehabilitation device allows for training of both upper and lower limbs, either separately or together. This reduces the complexity of treatment while enhancing its effectiveness. The upper part of the device rotates 180° to provide support for both handles during lower limb training. Additionally, the device can be used for horizontal upper limb training by rotating the upper part by 90°. Horizontal upper limb training allows for a comprehensive workout of the upper limbs, even including the shoulders.
