VZN GRAVITY is a device that autonomously calculates the degree of necessary influence and pressure on affected muscle groups, utilizing the force of gravity and simulating the relaxation of affected muscle areas by applying the patient's own weight. This process unloads the affected areas, creating negative pressure that aids the penetration of nutrients and oxygen.
VZN GRAVITY allows for controlled spinal traction. Its effectiveness accelerates the rehabilitation process and enhances the prevention of osteochondrosis (lumbar, cervical, thoracic, and articular).
VZN GRAVITY is a highly effective medical device that provides both immediate pain relief and a long-lasting therapeutic effect on areas with degenerative and compressive spinal conditions. Its primary mechanism of action involves the decompression of anatomical structures, increasing intervertebral and interarticular distances, expanding intervertebral foramina, unloading spinal-motion segments, reducing intradiscal pressure, and unlocking intervertebral joints.
A microcomputer controls a multifunctional spinal treatment system using an advanced traction control program executed by a computer processor.
Depending on the rate of application, VZN GRAVITY offers several traction modes:
- Continuous:
Continuous tractions primarily provide decompressive effects.
- Intermittent:
Intermittent tractions involve gradually increasing tension, with the maximum level maintained for several minutes, followed by a gradual reduction of tension until complete relaxation. Intermittent traction is more effective than continuous traction and is less abrupt and intensive for the patient.
- Cyclic:
The essence of cyclic traction is the rapid alternation between tension and relaxation to establish a specific rhythm of stretching.
VZN GRAVITY employs modern control technology that assists medical personnel in fully monitoring the entire rehabilitation process. The rehabilitation table is fully electric and consists of several sections. The table features an adjustable headrest to provide easy access to the thoracic and cervical spinal regions. The leg section is also adjustable.
The rehabilitation table is equipped with a stand and monitor that display patient data and device operation modes. It also allows for adjustment and control of the rehabilitation process.
