VZN R-HAND i8 PRO+ is a device for hand rehabilitation that combines exoskeleton robot technology with neurobiology, offering both active and passive training for patients with finger joint dysfunction. It covers all stages of hand rehabilitation, helping patients train and restore hand functions through a series of passive and active exercises to restore bending, straightening, and resistance during these processes.
VZN R-HAND i8 PRO+ is equipped with highly sensitive sensors for precise reading of patient neuroimpulses and, subsequently, smooth device movements. The device operates with various systems, allowing the selection of individual training programs and exercises for each patient. Modern software with simple and intuitive control enables medical assistants to quickly adapt to working with the device and select the most effective training for patients.
VZN R-HAND i8 PRO+ has the following training modes:
- Active-passive training.
The assistant selects one of the rehabilitation program options offered by the system, and the patient performs training using a single glove.
VZN R-HAND i8 PRO+ optionally or passively activates the hand and fingers according to the specified programs, imitating anatomically characteristic hand and finger movements or using BFB (biological feedback function) thanks to highly sensitive sensors that read weak hand and finger movements and amplify them, thus performing training.
- Mirror training.
Using two gloves, so-called "mirror training" takes place. Using sensors, the device reads movements from the healthy hand and reproduces them on the hand with impaired mobility.
- Strength training.
The device uses programs with resistance of various levels to train the hand and finger muscles and restore muscle memory function.
The device is equipped with a biological feedback technology, allowing the generation of "Spasm Control." In case of muscle spasms, the device stops the exercise and alerts the therapist.
The patient's morale during the rehabilitation process has a direct impact on the healing progress. Therefore, an interactive element during exercise not only positively affects the mood but also allows the patient to be distracted and perform exercises with benefit and pleasure. For this purpose, VZN R-HAND i8 PRO+ comes with a 32-inch LCD display that is attached to a multifunctional table with a movable stand.
The multifunctional table is equipped with a special drive that can be adjusted according to the patient's individual requirements. The tabletop features an anatomical cutout in the center to allow the patient to comfortably position themselves during exercises. It also enables training with VZN R-HAND i8 PRO+ for patients in wheelchairs.
