The colposcope Centrel C43 is the first model in the Centrel colposcope series to use a pantographic handle for practical and quick positioning of the stereoscopic head.
The optical body, compact size, combines well with stands with articulated arms on a weightless base, a device that allows placing the colposcope attached to the gynecological bed for maximum space optimization.
Without a lamp and optical fiber, the C43 practically reduces maintenance costs and improves reliability over time compared to previous generation products with halogen technology.
Through the radiation separator, a digital camera can be installed to convert the C43 colposcope into a photo-video colposcope that produces images and HD videos displayed on an LED monitor. C43 is available in a bed-chair version on request.
The average range of Centrel colposcopes is updated, inheriting from the Z4 Power Led System model, which uses an innovative LED for illuminating the field with white light, with a working life of 35,000 hours. Mounting the LED directly on the optical body avoids the use of optical fibers, increasing light efficiency. Without a light cable and without a lamp that needs to be replaced periodically, maintenance costs are practically zero. Low energy consumption is combined with the absence of any cooling fan, providing absolutely silent operation.
Compact design, color combination, and design harmony testify to precision in planning for over forty years according to Centrel traditions. The 45° binocular head, together with the practical central handle, provides the best ergonomics. The rotating arm of the C43 provides excellent maneuverability of the optical body to ensure comfortable observation even after many hours of work. Eyepieces, both with diopter adjustment, are also equipped with extendable rubber caps for users with glasses.
Accurate diagnosis is the primary task of a gynecologist, so every detail must be achieved with the highest precision. The exceptional depth of the Galilean optical system provides a three-dimensional view and clear contrast of the entire field, minimizing the use of the focusing system. Three available magnifications are centered on more common solutions, it would be a pity not to make them more complex and expensive.
Photocolposcopy is becoming increasingly common practice to protect one's own profession and provide the patient with a full report with photographs. The Sony digital camera applied to the C43 produces HD photos and videos, which can also be viewed in real time on a freely rotating LCD. With a built-in isolation transformer in the stand, the C43 is designed to place the monitor and camera in full compliance with medical device safety rules. Within seconds, a small sublimation printer produces A6 quality printed photos. The need for a medical report with text and images is met by installing a laptop on a swivel shelf, coupled with a high-definition digital camera.
