DirectClear technology is a new, patented process that enhances transducer performance:
- Improved penetration and contrast enhancement: unlike traditional SonoSite sensors, the new design uses a more effective material that generates an enhanced acoustic signal. Additionally, a light-reflective layer is added to reduce signal loss transmitted into the patient's body.
- High resolution for clearer imaging of fine details is achieved by adding an extra layer to ensure better acoustic contact of the sensor with the patient's body, thus improving the resolution of images of small structures and the reliability of diagnostics.
