Conventional vacuum therapy, a standard device for wound closure with negative pressure and dressing; is an active system that applies controlled local negative pressure to support the healing of non-invasive acute and chronic wounds. This is a non-invasive, developed method of wound treatment that has proven to be effective in wound healing. This therapeutic device requires the application of controlled negative pressure (subatmospheric) to the wound area.
The classic vacuum wound treatment device with digital manual control TopiVac has a wide range of disposable consumables to optimize treatment.
Specially designed for the TopiVac device, the disposable kit with special sponge dressing (TopiVac MultiDRESS) continuously removes exudate from the wound through a special sponge set applied to the wound area. It ensures uniform distribution of negative pressure to the affected area. The wound heals by creating granulation tissue.
The negative pressure wound closure system accelerates tissue healing by increasing microcapillary circulation.
