Hemocoagulometers provide accurate and reliable results for a wide range of coagulation tests - prothrombin time, activated partial thromboplastin time, thrombin time, and fibrinogen, as well as blood coagulation factors. For blood coagulation measurement, the analyzer employs the principle of optical colorimetry. After mixing the reagent with plasma, fibrinogen is transformed into fibrin and coagulates, resulting in a change in the optical density of the tested sample and the device determines the endpoint of coagulation.
