The VZN 3004C intensive care incubator is designed for the care of premature infants born before 37-38 weeks of gestation, regardless of their weight and height, as well as for the treatment of sick newborns. It is equipped with servo-controlled air temperature, body temperature, air humidity, and oxygen concentration. A graphical display shows both set and real parameters, allowing for an assessment of the incubator's internal environment. The incubator features a special air circulation system inside the chamber to minimize airflows. It has double walls, and even in the event of a power outage, the incubator retains heat for approximately 2 hours.
Due to the ability to have complete access to the newborn, the incubator combines the advantages of an open resuscitation system. This allows for a full range of resuscitation procedures while maintaining the most optimal temperature and humidity conditions.
